Classy backpacker craving adventure.
I arrived in Kathmandu, Nepal late at night after a long flight from Sydney. This was my first time travelling to Asia and it blew my mind. We arrived in the small hours and after wandering the streets for a while with our backpacks (we were very lost!), we finally gave in and paid for a tuk tuk ride to our hotel. It turned out it was only around the corner – go figure!

go for a decent walk to get my bearings. I also suss out where the main hubs are for food, shopping and activities. Going for a walk is also a great way to get in some exercise!
